And if that weren't enough, she's also doing a little work at CraftFail. This, in addition to teaching very lucky elementary kids Spanish. No fear, she's still doing all the other stuff that she's been doing all along. How she does it, I just don't know. I get tired just trying to keep up with all of her awesomeness. She just gets more and more peppergasm.
Over the past year, I have had the honor and the privileged to meet a number of talented and genuinely wonderful people at an online writing site called HubPages. (Should you care to join the ever growing world of online writers, check out HubPages.)
Recently, a number of these exceptional scribes have expanded their endeavors and began down a path to blogging (or re-discovered it). I would like to introduce some of my friends and hope that you give them a look. You just might like what you see:
Cyndi
On HubPages, she goes by the name CClitgirl. A little about one of my favorite writers:
"Some people call me"CC", some people call me "Cyndi", and others tack on "Cyndi-Lou-Who". I am a full-time freelance writer, photographer, and a graduate of the HubPages Apprenticeship Program. I definitely love words - writing and reading. That’s why I’m here on HubPages and it’s where I got my username: CC-lit(terature)-girl.
After finding HubPages, I started writing about all of my interests - and there are a lot of them: Anthropology, Languages, Culture, Photography, Spanish, Fine Art, Being Green, Being Frugal, Homesteading, and more.
Edgar Allan Poe
“I'm concentrating on staying healthy, having peace, being happy, remembering what is important, taking in nature and animals, spending time reading, trying to understand the universe, where science and the spiritual meet.”
Joan Jett"
Please check out her blog, Pictimilitude.
Why I like Cyndi: She is effervescent. I have never known her to say anything discouraging or negative to anyone. She is always positive. If I'm having a royally shitty day, she can say something and suddenly the clouds part and the sun begins to shine again. She is simply 'awesomesauce.'
My favorite piece by CC: How To Be Happy Everyday.
Til next time! ~Terrye

ReplyDeleteI think you just completely validated why in the world I am doing this. Oh my god I'm crying happy tears over here. This is such a special gem to wake up to. I don't know if you sensed it, but I was having a tough day yesterday and well, your post here is like an injection of happy juice that is going to make 2013 be an epic year. You are such an incredible person and if you weren't a blogger, I'd say that you'd be the world's best life coach because you have a gift of inspiring people and infusing humor to make everything in life seem attainable. I don't know what I did to meet such an awesome person as you, but I sure count my lucky stars that you're in my corner. I will be in yours, too, as long as you don't mind that I hang photographs and paint it in every color of the rainbow. ;)

ReplyDeleteWe have each others backs, and I am very grateful for whatever force lined up the stars so that our paths would meet. We have such a wonderful group of friends. Sometimes I wonder how I got so damn lucky. :) Thank you for being who you are. <3
Janine, I have to agree. She is such an inspiration to me and so many others. Her fearlessness to chase her dreams and her determination to achieve them are what makes for an epic role model. I learn something new from her every day. We are lucky to have her.
